Parents-for-Parents is a parent mentoring group, established with the cooperation and support of the Great Neck Secondary Public Schools' parent and administration leadership, serving parents who have students in North or South Middle and High Schools. The goal of Parents-for-Parents is to positively affect the social culture in which our preteens and teenagers live and learn. The group and its facilitators attempt to create an environment where parents can communicate with each other without fear of judgment or criticism; and, by supporting parents in this way, encourage our children to make positive social and academic choices and avoid dangerous risk-taking behaviors.
