About the UPTC
Founded in 1943, the United Parent-Teacher Council has brought parents, educators, and community members together to support the success of every student in the Great Neck Public Schools. Today, we look to the future - championing innovation, inclusion, and collaboration to ensure our schools remain places where all learners can thrive. Through active committees, meaningful dialogue, and shared advocacy, UPTC empowers families, teachers, and the whole school community to be partners in shaping an outstanding educational experience, now and for generations to come.

To promote student health, teamwork, and school spirit by enhancing athletic opportunities and recreational programs that encourage participation, personal growth, and lifelong wellness, while advocating for outstanding facilities and dedicated coaches, recognizing their vital role in fostering excellence, safety, and positive experiences for all students.
College & Career Readiness
